This is an Important Water Main Alert from The City of Lyndhurst. At 4:15am this morning, Tuesday June 3rd, a large Water Main connection on Brainard Road at Edenhall burst. As of 5:30am, city service crews were on scene and the Water Department investigators joined them to begin shutting down the main and assessing repairs needed. Cleveland Water repair crews have been dispatched as well. As of this time, light traffic can be maintained on Brainard but PLEASE AVOID THE AREA if at all possible. It is not anticipated there will be a disruption in water service; however, if you live in that general area, please be mindful of discolored water. If you notice rusty or discolored water run COLD WATER ONLY from the lowest sink in your home until it runs clear. Further updates will be provided as they become available. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
