Donors are needed at the blood drive this Thursday, February 1st from 10am-3pm at the Lyndhurst Community Center! Schedule an appointment on the Red Cross Blood App, visit RedCrossBlood.org, or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).

Please remember, when there are 2" or more of snowfall, a parking ban is in effect. When a parking ban is in effect, it is illegal to park on city streets. In order to provide the best possible service regarding snow removal, please remember it is illegal to shovel, plow or blow snow into the street or pile snow on the public sidewalk in front of your home. Keeping these areas open will allow our crews to operate more efficiently. If you hire a contractor to plow your driveway this winter, make sure they are registered with our Police Department, and aware of our ordinances pertaining to snow removal.

Train to be a Master Rain Gardener! In partnership with Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District and Lake County Soil & Water Conservation District, Chagrin River Watershed Partners will again be offering the Master Rain Gardener certification course for residents and professionals within Northeast Ohio. The first online course of 2024 will begin on January 29. Registration is now open! Trash / Recyclables will not be picked up on Christmas Day, Monday, December 25th. Trash/Recyclables will be picked up on Tuesday, December 26th 2023 , which will include Monday's route. No other day will be affected by this holiday. Please have your rubbish and recycling on the curb by 7:00 AM on collection day!

City offices will be closed Christmas Day, December 25th & New Year's Day, January 1st. Wishing you a joyous holiday season and healthy new year!

We hope you'll join us this weekend as we kick-off the holiday season! Tonight, December 1st is our Holiday Lighting in the Lyndhurst Park from 7-9pm where there will be cookies & hot chocolate, train rides, and of course visits with Santa in the gazebo! Sunday, December 3rd is our Holiday Concert featuring the Hillcrest Concert Band in the Community Center from 3-5pm. You can contact the Lyndhurst Police Department Traffic Bureau at 440-473-5116 to confirm that your contractor has a city-issued permit.
