The Service Department will begin vacuuming leaf piles from tree lawns in late October, weather permitting.
Leaf pickup will not follow a set schedule. Crews will collect leaves on an as-needed basis.
Important Leaf Collection Guidelines:
· Please place all leaves from your tree lawn into piles for vacuum pickup. The collected leaves will be composted and made into leaf humus and other soil amendments.
· After December 1st, place leaves in paper yard-waste bags or a designated yard-waste container.
· Do not use plastic bags.
· For safety reasons, do not place leaves in the street or gutter. Leaves placed in these areas will not be collected. Residents will be notified to remove them and may be cited under C.O. 660.03.
· Leaves mixed with branches or other materials will not be collected.
