Starting the week of July 14th, repair of the concrete pavement on Acacia Park Drive (south bound lanes), Kilbourne Drive (Acacia Park Dr. to Camberly Ln.), Camberly Lane, Aldersgate Drive (Brainard to Cornwall), Edenhall Drive (Brainard to Cornwall), Meadow Wood Blvd (at Larkspur Ln.), Golfway Lane (Camberyly to Aldersgate), Bluebell Drive, Clubside Road (at Richmond Rd.), Roland Road (Graham to Ashwood), Hickory Drive (Richmond Road to Graham Drive) & Parkside Circle will be taking place. This work is part of the $286,525.00 Concrete Program being done in the City this year. The City’s contractor for this year’s program will be A & J Cement Contractors. The Contractor will begin on Acacia Park Dr. and will move to the remaining streets in the order of the streets listed above. The work will be completed in approximately five weeks.
The work will require closing one lane of the above-mentioned streets to traffic except for you, the residents. A detour may be set up to direct other users away from the construction area. Please be aware of the construction zones during this time.
If a repair is in front of your driveway, the contractor will notify you about the dates that you will not be able to access your drive. You may park on the street if there is space available or an adjacent street. Please contact the Police Dept. to let them know if you are parking overnight on the street.
The driveway access to Sherri Park and Acacia on the Green will be maintained through the work.
Please proceed slowly through the construction areas. There will be equipment and materials in different areas throughout the work, so please be aware of the equipment and the workers. Do not park on the street during the project.
Garbage collections will continue on the normally scheduled day but will happen earlier in the day. Please have your garbage and recyclables out by 7 am.
Thank you for your cooperation during this work. We regret the temporary inconvenience all this work may cause you. Please be patient and cooperative, and the inconveniences can be minimized.
