The State Legislature has mandated voting in Ohio, for the 2020 Presidential primary, that was suspended March 17th 2020 , be concluded by April 28, 2020
via ABSENTEE BALLOT ONLY.
Here is what we know:
1.) How do I request an Absentee Ballot?
Absentee ballots must be requested in writing. Applications can be requested from the Board on Elections online at https://boe.cuyahogacounty.us/en-US/VoteByMail.aspx or are available at City Hall.
2.) What is the deadline for Voting?
The Vote-by-Mail deadline is April 28th 2020 . All requests for absentee ballots must be received no later than April 25th 2020
and your completed ballot must be returned by April 28th 2020

3.) Will I be able to vote in person anywhere?
NO! The Legislature has determined that only Absentee Ballots will be accepted with the exception of those with certain disabilities for whom accommodation will be made at the Board of Elections offices only.
4.) Can I change my vote if I have already submitted an Absentee Ballot?
NO! Every Candidate and Issue appearing on a ballot is predetermined prior to an election. The ballots will not change nor will any votes already cast.
