About:
Container gardening is a perfect activity for beginning gardeners. Plants in containers can be grown where traditional gardens are not possible including apartment balconies, small courtyards, decks, patios, and areas with poor soil. With appropriate containers and proper handling, anything that can be grown in the ground can be grown in a container.
Sharon will demonstrate how to design and make a medium/large container garden. A lucky raffle winner will take her creation home.
Sharon graduated from OSU in Landscape Horticulture. She has worked in the garden center industry for 40 years. Currently semi-retired, she designs container gardens at Bremec's Garden Center in Chesterland.
