Description: Growing herbs is a simple way to add edible plants to your garden. Most herbs are very versatile, and grow well in the ground or in containers. They can be perennials such as thyme or lavender, biennials such as parsley or annuals like basil.
Kathleen Gips has been growing, studying and writing about herbs for more than 25 years. She is a frequent lecturer at garden clubs, herb societies and symposiums.
