![]() Solid Waste District to Host Free Paper Shredding, Electronics Recycling, and Tool Collection on October 5th 2013 Released: 9/10/2013 Print Close ![]() The District will be collecting small household appliances and personal electronic devices (working and non-working) for recycling plus working hand and power tools to benefit Habitat for Humanity. A paper shredding truck will be on-site to handle document destruction. A complete list of items that will be accepted at the Clutter Buster recycling event can be found at www.cuyahogaswd.org. No Televisions or large appliances will be accepted. Televisions (up to 32") can be recycled for free at any local Best Buy store. Computers and electronics will be recycled by local non-profit organization RET3 job corp. Working tools will be donated to the Cleveland Habitat for Humanity. Paper shredding services will be provided by All Ohio Secure Shred. The Solid Waste Management District is a public agency that works to promote environmentally-sustainable and economical solid waste management practices within the communities, institutions and businesses of Cuyahoga County.
