Lyndhurst Community Alert Notification System: Sign Up Today Released: 7/16/2008 Print   Close   Liberty Mutual Insurance company is offering 10 grants of $10,000.00 each for fire departments with the largest response to their Quick Fire Safety Quiz. The money can be used for operations, equipment, training and public education. If the Lyndhurst Fire Department were to receive this grant, the money would be put towards public education and the purchase of photo electric smoke detectors for distribution to the needy and elderly.   The link below will direct you to a website for a short 10 Question (only) quiz related to fire safety. After the quiz, you will be asked to enter a fire department you are supporting (Lyndhurst Fire Department).   Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and be sure to spread the word to your neighbors and friends.
