Charles A. LoPresti, Chairman Safety Committee February 4, 2013: Safety Committee MINUTES: The Safety Committee met on Monday, February 4, 2013, in the conference room at Lyndhurst Municipal Center. Present at the Meeting were Committee Members Councilman Schlessel and Ward and Chairman LoPresti. Also present were Councilmen Gambatese, Frey and Packard, Finance Director Kovalchik, Police Chief Parrella and Fire Chief Carroll. The Meeting was called to order at 7:17pm. The purpose of the Meeting was to discuss Capital Requests for 2013. The following requests by the Police Department were recommended by the Committee, pending the availability of funds: Police (NOTE: The possibility of delaying the regular replacement schedule referenced in Request #1 was discussed and is being investigated. Request #2 should include a $6,500.00 grant offset. Request #7 requires further discussion. Request #10 may also be offset by a grant.) Total Recommended Capital Requests (POLICE): $282,804.00 The following requests by the Fire Department were recommended by the Committee, pending the availability of funds: Fire Total Recommended Capital Requests (FIRE): $78·,500.00 No other business was discussed and the Meeting adjourned at 7:55pm Respectfully, LoPresti Chairman Print ⇧ Back To Top ![]() |
